I have found that the Bersa Thunder works quite well. The slide is easier to work than my other .380's, and the muzzle flip is quite controllable. The trigger leaves a bit to be desired: long take-up and a bit gritty. I'm hoping it will improve with continued use.

Recieved today, ran to...
Recieved today, ran to the range and put 100 rounds through it. No FTFs, no FTEs, using the cheapest ammunition I could find. It took me 25 or so rounds to really get everything loosened up, and get used to the sight picture (more on that later) I have shot my fair share of guns, and I don't know that you can find a better EDC Conceal Carry. It checks all my boxes. -light but not a cloud -good capacity of a good enough round -an abundance of safety features for a gun this small -easy to conceal and won't be a burden to carry every day. -very accurate out to 10 yards once you get used to it. Only downside, if you could call it that, is the sights are small. TOO small, maybe? I feel like another 1mm on the front post would not have hindered my ability to draw, and would greatly increase pickup. Once you get used to them they are ok and you can get some really good groupings, but just know that you aren't going to impress anyone with your 50 yard deadeyes. I don't know how relevant that is given the task it was designed for. It is not a target shooting gun, it is for close range only. I wouldn't even attempt it out past 15 yards or so, tops. A fine quality gun. Would highly recommend at $300+, its a steal at the 260 I got it for.

There were some who...
There were some who advised me against buying the Bersa .380. I bought it anyway and have had it for several years because it's reliable and accurate. I recommend it for concealed carry because it's light, thin, and dependable.
