Cant beat it for the price! I have several thousand rounds of range ammo through it with less than religious cleaning intervals and the gun has never given me a malfunction of any type. The 10rd mags for compliance in nonsense states was a huge bonus!

Purchased the TP9SFX...
Purchased the TP9SFX and it took very little time to get shipped and delivered. Took it to the range after a couple of weeks anticipating the same performance I got from my other 2 Caniks (TP9 Elite and TP9SF), but was totally disappointed when within the first 10 rounds it was stovepiping. I did notice that it was a little hard and it was catching when I tried to put the magazine all the way in, but thought nothing of it. I changed to different brands of ammo hoping that maybe it was brand finicky, but no luck. I tried using the magazines that came with my TP9SF, but it was doing the same thing. When I got home I tried a few different things to see what could have been causing the issue. The first thing I tried was putting in just 9 rounds in the magazine and realized that it would go all the way in much easier. Just for the heck of it I put in 10 defensive rounds and had no problem putting the magazine all the way in. I attributed that to the gun not being broken in yet and the round nose was catching the bottom edge of the ramp. I racked the slide back and forth to try and wear down any sharp corners or edges. Went to the range again and tried just putting 9 rounds in the magazine and got the same results with the stovepiping. When I got home I disassembled the gun looking for anything obvious, but saw nothing out of the ordinary. When I reassembled it and tried putting in the full 10 rounds of round nose I found the magazine went all the way in with no catching or difficulty. Finally able to go to the range again and the gun worked flawlessly, so I guess something wasn't aligned properly and when I took it apart and put it back together I must have realigned whatever was catching. I probably could have avoided the same issue the second time I went to the range, but that was totally my fault for not taking it apart the first time I had a problem. Lesson learned, but I guess if I were looking for an excuse I'm still relatively new at this. I gave it a 4 star since it came out of the box not operating properly. Other than that I love the accuracy and especially the trigger.
