Comes in a flimsy case...
Comes in a flimsy case that was broken, But am very impressed at the fit and finish, slide to frame a barrel to bushing and bushing to slide fit are all TIGHT gun shoots 2'' groups at 21 feet. The sights are driftable and can be adjusted for windage with a punch but the gun shoots low by 1-2 inches at most ranges i was planning on having the slide cut for novaks, but functions flawlessly and puts rounds on target just fine. LOVE IT

First, Buds was great....
First, Buds was great. Ordered on a Friday and received by the dealer on Monday. Gun shipped in small plastic case. Fit and finish as expected and maybe even a little better. Field stripped and cleaned. Bushing very tight and difficult to remove. This should loosen up during the break in period. First trip to the range and experienced spent brass being ejected straight back towards my face. Realize this could be a few different causes; ammo being one, ejector/extractor, or even my grip (even though I have never been a limp wrister). Will go back to the range with a different ammo and pay extra attention to grip. No failures and groupings tight at 7, 10 and 15 yards. Issues experienced are not uncommon, even with much higher priced 1911s. Would recommend this firearm to anyone looking for a Commander size 1911.

First 1911 pistol I've...
First 1911 pistol I've ever owned, first .45ACP I've ever owned. Compared to the Kimbers and Colts and Sig Sauers that you see around, this 1911 is only lacking in finish. It is VERY smooth, the pistol looks and feels well made, and it has a great balance to it. I expected a much higher recoil than what I felt through this pistol. I own a Sarsilmaz B6P that I ordered through Bud's, a Glock 26 that I ordered through Bud's, and now this beauty. I do recommend changing out the sights. They don't have any "bad" issues, but they don't seem to do the trick for me. They're just your average GI combat sights. I prefer something more visible. These are all black and dovetailed both front and back. I will be replacing with Meprolight Tritium Night Sights. They work great. I did notice that this pistol has a lot of gun oil on it, probably from storage. So, a quick takedown to familiarize yourself with the system, which is learned fairly easily, and a good ole wipe down. You'll be shooting in no time. I recommend this 1911 for anyone on a budget looking for a 1911, or just anyone really who wants a well made gun without having to pay 4x more than necessary. I loved it. I will be getting the Recover Tactical Grips for it soon. CC3/CC3H. Great product, go check them out.
