I have been a big fan...
I have been a big fan of the 1911 45 acp since I first fired one but have always wanted it in 357. When I first saw the Coonan I was very interested. I could not find one to try or physically check out near me so for the price there were a lot of what if's. Did research and even though I am not rich decided to pull the trigger and purchase one. ABSOLUTELY WORTH EVERY PENNY. When I received the order and finally had it in hand the fit and finish were immaculate. Complete quality piece. Every aspect tight and right. The action is sooooo smoooth and when fired very accurate. Have fired several hundred rounds with no issues other than not wanting to stop. Great feel in hand and the recoil from the Magnum that in a revolver requires reaquisition of the target has been reduced by the action of chambering another round. Only downside was that when I bought there was only 1 mag as an option and they are a bit pricey. However still ordered 2 extra because firing only 7 before having to reload the mag takes too long. Buds customer service is still flawless as well.
