The CZ 1911 A1 is a modern, 5-inch Government-size homage to the classic 1911 A1 design, built with tighter slide-to-barrel and slide-to-frame tolerances for improved accuracy while maintaining reliable function. This .45 ACP model uses a stainless steel barrel, features taller 3-dot sights for faster target acquisition, and comes with two 7-round magazines.

Unlike many others, I will respect Bud's wishes and limit this review to just the gun, and not my interaction with Bud's. This is a great example of a full size GI 1911. The gun is very accurate and the fit and finish is tight. I had some issues in the first 50 rounds, but have not had any reliability issues in the next 150 that I fired, so this is likely just a break-in issue. Incredible value for a gun that is built in the Dan Wesson factory. These are no longer in production so I would highly recommend grabbing one while you can.
