The CZ Scorpion EVO 3 S1 pistol sits between the traditional Scorpion pistol and carbine setups, designed for a two-stamp workflow. It uses the standard 7.72 in Scorpion pistol barrel while a 5 in KAK flash can extends the muzzle slightly past the forend. The forend provides M-LOK attachment points and helps extend the sight radius for improved handling.

I. Love. This....
I. Love. This. Firearm! Shooting is easy with the CZ Scorpion. The cycling and operation of this piece is simple. I added three quick mods to it when I received it, which made it significantly more enjoyable: extended charging handle (2) (the stock handle is short and the top rail can eat your knuckles), and the folding arm brace(2). I was a little irritated when I saw that Buds listed one WITH an arm brace for QP discounts 2 days after I got it from my FFL Transfer, but, this review isn't about that. The SBT arm brace is a good stabilizer for shooting. I placed an inexpensive red dot and 45º offset BUIS on top. After grouping and zeroing at 25 yds, it was a lot of fun to quickfire at the local range with the dot with great results. 250 rounds through it so far and no issues on feed, fire or extract/eject. I shot 115gr. Speer, Remington and Perfecta, all no problem. Ergonomics are good with this as well and the M-lok is a bonus. I like to shoot holding forward at the mag well for the top sights and use an angled foregrip (3rd mod) for shooting iron sights on the 45º. The ambi safety is nice, but it is large and can irritate the trigger finger. I will eventually be upgrading mine. I'm also waiting for a Parker Mountain Machine rear QD sling attachment point. Both are worthwhile upgrades as well. Maintenance is super simple. Only a single takedown pin to remove the trigger group and you're on your way. Mine came with a boresnake, which was a nice and unexpected surprise. CZ designed this thing to be simple and durable, and made a fun piece in the process. Even the model with the flashcan is still small enough to be a good backpack piece. I was on the fence, but decided to go that route over the standard EVO 3 S1. Glad that I did.
