Okay, this is my second DDA 1911, and neither of them was "perfect" -- they needed tuning and a significant break-in, and the price is becoming a bit high for that lack of refinement. I have access to having them brought to where they should've been out of the box, so, it's not so big a deal for me.\\r\ \\r\ As for my recommendation, I have several 1911's -- high end to low -- and once refined properly they are all reliable enough to carry. I will say that the fit of these DDA's 1911's is definitely tight and smooth...
