This is a great...
This is a great firearm! It is light but not too light. It is very easy to conceal even on my lanky 5'7 130 lb. frame. The twelve plus one and seventeen plus one capacity ensures that you will not run out of ammo if things go to crap. The grip texture feels perfect. I have not had a single malfunction. The slide serrations are easy to get a hold of. The trigger is very nice. There is some travel and then it breaks like glass. The trigger on mine seem light but it is not as light as the three and a half pound trigger on my rifle. So I would bet that it is right about five pounds. It is easy to get shots off quickly and accurately. I love that the loaded chamber indicator is also the extractor. I hate loaded chamber indicators especially when they pop up out of the top of a firearm. So it is a wonderful change and make it to where I do not mind it being there. I really cannot say enough good things about the FNS-9C. There are some possible negatives about it. The recoil spring is a little stiff which could be an issue for people with wrist issues (it just needs to be broken in). The magazine release can be a bit difficult to push because of how it was designed. The grip angle is between a Glock and a 1911 so for me for a time I had to make a conscious effort to cock my wrist a little so I would not be aiming over the target or at the top of the target. The grip texture while I like it might be too aggressive for some. For example one of my little brothers does not like and prefers a more suddle texture. The rear sight does not have a shelf to use for one handed manipulations. It might be a bit heavier than some people would like. There are a lot of companies that do not make holsters for it. They are not hard to find but it does take a little more digging than something like a 1911 or a Glock. Magazines are like $40 to $50 a piece. So they are expensive (the only real negative). I highly recommend getting a FNS-9C. After almost one year of owning mine I can say I happily trust mine and my dogs lives to it!

I love this gun, it's...
I love this gun, it's a great shot, extremely accurate, and the sights are amazing. The trigger is phenomenal and the reset is also. I don't like comparing guns to each other because every gun has something different to offer but if I had to compare it to something to give you an idea it shoots and operates much like a Glock but a fair bit better, not quite as good as a Sig or HK striker fire however but it definatley doesnt take away from the FN. The gun absorbs recoil very well it's a little heavier than you would expect but I got the stainless model so that attributes some weight. It comes with a good variety of magazines, it really fits the shooter well. It loves all types of ammo, even the +P+ (use in my self defense ammo only not on a regular). Ive have about 600-800 rounds through her and not a single problem. The fit and finish is fantastic, the stippling on the grip his aggressive but not too much, the top slide is very easy to get a good hold of. Its really fun to shoot at the range. I could go on and on but you will not be disappointed in this gun, its rugged and reliable but also elegant because afterall it is FN and they have proved themselves a very excellent firearms company time and time again. I always have folks at the range and friends asking to shoot it and curious about it, when I tell them its an FN there is no suprise as to why its such a fantastic gun. Punch that add to cart button! You'll thank me later.
