I bought this pistol...
I bought this pistol in January 2026 and waited until now to review it after shooting 200 rounds of 124 RN and HP. The pistol has had no issues and is very accurate. Like all HiPowers it handles well and points naturally. It has some weight to it and is very comfortable to shoot. The trigger has settled in at 3.5 lbs. I have many 1911 pattern pistols and enjoyed shooting them for 50 years and this HighPower is equal to the best of them. While it isn't cheap, this pistol exemplifies the saying "You get what you pay for". However, like most of my pistols, I did swap out the grips for a set of VZs. As always, Bud's made the purchase easy and the price was better than anywhere else. Thank You to The Team!

I bought a regular...
I bought a regular basic black FN High Power when they 1st came out but always wanted the Stainless but it was perpetually out of stock. It finally came back so I bought it. It's everything I wanted. Both firearms perform fantastic. I'd recommend tho they aren't very light if you plan to CCW them (tho I will occasionally). Buds was fantastic as always.

FN has created a masterpiece. Fantastic pistol! Extremely happy with my purchase. It does everything I want and more. A fantastic looking, functioning and quality gun. Just read a review in a trade journal today on this very pistol. After I read the article, had to check who the author was, thinking, 'get outta my head, you wrote my thought exactly'! A brief synopsis of the authors/my feelings about his pistol after he shot 3,000 rounds and never cleaned it, just lubricated it. ( here I differ, as I was in the military. Your weapon must be cleaned and lubed after shooting, or when a break in the action warrants). 1. "Not a race gun". Exactly! 2. "Not ultra sexy, like the latest striker-fired guns". Exactly! 3. "Not exactly easily concealed for EDC". Exaclioto Quasimodo!! Where I differ from the author… 1-99. Who cares? It does what I want, when I want, how I want !! I am mature enough and peacefully happy in my own skin to know I don't need to please anyone but my Lord. To summarize: 1. "Not a race gun". BS! 2. "Not ultra sexy, like the latest striker-fired guns". BS! 3. "Not exactly easily concealed for EDC". BS! This FN will be used as: 1. My race gun! 2. Don't hate it, because it IS sexy! 3.
