I have not shot this...
I have not shot this pistol yet, but will compare it to my Rossi R92 that has a spring kit in it The G Force Mares leg looks great. Furniture looks a lot better than my Rossi. Fit and finish is great. The receiver is aluminum and has a rough finish. Not sure if it's a nickel coating or just a finish. It's similar to being sandblasted, but matches the rest of the finish on the pistol The action is smooth and similar to my Rossi without the spring kit. Trigger action is smooth and matches my Rossi with a lighter trigger spring in it. The follower is metal, unlike the plastic one that comes with the Rossi. Also the latch that holds rounds in the mag tube reaches farther over than the Rossi one does, so you don't get a double feed like you do with the Rossi. The loading gate is smoother and nicer than the Rossi. No cut fingers when trying to load . Don't get me wrong, I love my Rossi and have addressed all the issues that they have. But those issues are not found on the GForce. The leather wrap is a nice feature not found on the Rossi. My only issue with that is the cloth string they used to tie it on vice the normal way of using sinus. The GForce comes with a rubber butt pad. Would have liked to see a nice metal plate like the Rossi and others. A big issue I have is the sling hoop that comes on the GForce. It's a quick release style, but it's mounted in the side of the butt stock. There is no way to get rid of it as it would leave a hole in the stock. Wish it didn't come with it Also wish it came with a saddle ring. I purchased a stainless steel one and installed it. I think it's going to be a fun pistol to shoot.
