I picked up this gun...
I picked up this gun today. I took it home and did a field strip on it. I was shocked to see sand on the feed ramp and in the slide and frame. The inside of the frame is just dirty. A light brown dirt that is also in the slide. From the outside, the gun looked new. Inside of the gun, there were clearly wear marks on the contact surfaces. The surface of the slide that the sear disconnector rides on has a thin ridges toward the front. I've never seen this before. I'm going to clean the gun and polish some contact surfaces and then take it to the range to see how it performs. I've never received a new gun that was this dirty. Hopefully it will perform.
