The HK VP9 Tactical Optic Ready is a striker-fired 9mm pistol built for fast target acquisition and reliable everyday carry use with a red dot optic. It features a 4.7-inch hammer-forged barrel with a threaded muzzle for suppressors or compensators, plus suppressor-height tritium sights that support lower 1/3 co-witness through a red dot window. The slide includes an optics cut and uses adapter plates to fit most popular red dot sights, allowing mounting with no additional modifications beyond selecting the correct plate.

I love the VP9 series...
I love the VP9 series of pistols so when I started looking for a 9mm suppressor host, the VP9 Tactical just made sense. I've run several different types of ammunition through it including brands like Winchester, Remington, Fiocchi, and S&B, as well as several different bullet weights including 115 grain, 124 grain +P, and 147 grain subsonic. All cycled flawlessly and all locked back on the last shot. I've yet to find a brand of 9mm ammo this thing won't feed. The raised suppressor-height sights are great either with or without a suppressor, and co-witness perfectly with a Steiner MPS red dot. I absolutely love this thing and cannot recommend it highly enough.

Excellent sidearm. The VP9 is already a fantastic striker fired pistol, but the tactical version is a step ahead. The suppressor height night sights are great, threaded barrel is suppressor ready, and the slide is optics ready. Out of the box, I added 20rd magazines and a Surefire x300 light. The customizable handgrip sizes are a neat feature. Once I had it all set, I took it too the range. Excellent performance, and quite accurate. HK VP9 Tactical is great for anyone intending to use its features for a suppressor. Keep an eye on your barrel thread cover, it comes loose while firing as expected. Easy way to fix that is add a suppressor or micro-comp. Ensure to check your thread pattern before purchasing either. Overall, excellent pistol. Highly satisfied. Bud's Guns is the champion of online firearm sales as always. They always have what I'm looking for, and its about $100-150 less expensive.
