A: mine is a matte finish with stamped (same finish) citadel name on the left side. I have seen them with the citadel name Color filled by the owners. A: You would need officer model size grips for this gun. Spacing is approximately 2.665". The grips for officer's model 1911s should fit just fine.

A: just measured mine it was 2 and 5/8 or 2.625 I have a set of the Hogue wraparound officers grips on mine and they fit great
