Sometimes you just...
Sometimes you just want a da/sa gun to differentiate from all the striker fired ones. I have CZ p01 which like the Jericho is based on the original CZ75 platform where the slide rides in frame. This is a popular long standing design and there are cheaper options in this platform like the SAR and Cherokee, but I like IWI's take on the design especially in the more modern enhanced version with the front and rear slide serrations. The DA pull isn't bad at all. I'd say smoother and lighter than my P01 Omega. The SA pull is very nice. You can also use it "cocked and locked" in SA mode as well with the safety engaged. Recoil on these types of gun is just different not bad just different. The slide kinda of back and forth in a slower pronounced fashion vs a traditional slide over frame snap. Both with this and my P01 one though, I just punch tiny sized groups like any other handguns. Grip fells good and trigger reach is fine for my tiny man hands. Some reviewers have said the sights were zeroed to 25 yards and they shoot low. I have not experienced this and at 15 feet I had POA at POI, maybe IWI adjusted the sights for us market, idk. Downsides are it's not optics ready and most dovetail optic mounts for Jericho 941 don't work for the enhanced version, (different dovetail). Your option is getting the dovetail milled out for optic pattern of choice or Meprolight(owned by IWI) makes a set up that includes a new front and rear sight with QD attachment on the rear sight for their included optic, which can be taken on and off as needed. The only issue is, it is expensive $350 ish (but includes optic) plus, I would image being it sits on top of rear sight, it will ride extremely high. Second big issue for me anyway is I continuously engage the safety while shooting. I have an aggressive high combat grip with my thumbs forward so I have to be constantly aware when shooting and even then, I find the safety getting moving ever so slightly but enough to engage and cause a dead trigger and I have to push it back down. I would almost consider complete removal of the safety as it's not necessary. I've carried DA/SA guns as a cop, you don't need a safety unless your gonna carry it ala 1911 cocked and locked in SA mode. Other than that. It's a good design.
