The IWI MASADA Optics Ready 9mm pistol is a striker-fired, polymer-framed design built for modern-duty handling and fast target acquisition. It features a low barrel axis for reduced perceived recoil, fully ambidextrous operating controls, and three interchangeable wrap-around back-straps to improve fit across hand sizes. The platform also includes a modular serialized steel trigger mechanism housing for straightforward disassembly and maintenance.

It's accurate, audible...
It's accurate, audible reset on trigger and has a decent trigger pull. Have not put optics on it yet. Nice ergonomic feel in your hand. The more rounds I put through it the smoother it was shooting. Magazines are very finicky though, used a Maglula mag loader loading up mags. Rounds would not feed using the Maglula for mag loading. Cartridges would drive straightforward into bottom of feed ramp, whether it was round nose ball ammo or semi flat nose. Happened everytime using Maglula loader. Unloaded mags and hand loaded the mags and had "0" failure to feed. Seems to be a follower issue. I then used a couple different mag loaders I had that would push down more so on rear of cartridge when loading and I had "0" issues with feeding. After figuring out the feeding issues with mags. I put 500rds through it after that with "0" issues. I would suggest not using a Maglula loader on these mags. Use a Glock style or Springfield style loader that pushes down more so on rear of cartridge for loading or load them by hand. Even with my slightly arthritic hands the mags were not difficult to load. As far as the firearm itself, it's a pretty dang good shooter.
