You might think I have...
You might think I have a predisposition to like Kahrs, since the Kahr MK9 Elite 03 I just received from Bud Gun Shop is my fourth Kahr pistol. It joins my K9 Elite, my PM9 and my P380. I'd been wanting an MK9 Elite for a while. For one thing it's a just a beautiful piece, all stainless, with no MIM parts at all. For another, it puts other tiny nines to shame in terms of quality and accuracy. It does have one drawback -- it's very expensive (though you get what you pay for). Some say that at 22 ounces it's "too heavy" -- and my response is: compared to what? Generally speaking one's choice of gun is a very personal decision -- there's no right or wrong. For me, however, the MK9 Elite couldn't be more right.

This gun is exactly...
This gun is exactly what I was expecting in terms of looks and features, and flawless performance by Buds in getting it to me with their V.I.P. next day shipping. Unfortunately, what I also got was a semi-auto that will not function reliably even after firing the required 200 rounds for break-in. Props to Kahr Customer Service for offering to bring it back on their nickel to see what they can do to make it as reliable as it is gorgeous. Not too happy but hopeful it will prove to be something more than just a gorgeous paper weight.
