Where to begin? Guess...
Where to begin? Guess I'll start by saying this pistol is darn near perfect, except for 2 things which drive me nuts about it. Honestly I wish I could say that they don't ruin the gun for me but... 1st: that unbearable crossbolt safety, it's fine for a long gun but, I gotta say get used to it before you carry this weapon. I'm used to and prefer a thumb safety, I was fumbling with that safety so much I just couldn't get used to it. So much so I ended up flipping it to a left handed configuration. I've found it much easier to manipulate the safety w either my right thumb or support hand thumb but, it's hardly ideal. 2nd: the only other thing I can complain about is, there's almost no aftermarket for this model. I found a pocket holster I really like for it but, I've yet to find an iwb holster that fits it with the red dot installed. I'm not exaggerating, there's really nothing out there for it yet. And don't get your hopes up for a pinky extension for that flush fit mag... that's not happening either... bummer 'cuz I'd really like one, I do like the carry size w/the flush fit mag. Ok and now for the good, other than those two issues, this gun is pretty much near perfect. It's accurate, fast, dependable (400 rounds through so far and not an issue, not one) It fits great in my glove size M-L hands, the cut in the slide for the red,-dot allows for perfect co-witness w the stock sights. And that trigger is fantastic! I've only felt one striker fired trigger I've liked better in many many years of shooting them. This is really a fine pistol but, those two issues I brought up though pretty much ruin it for me personally as a ccw. I'd give it 5 stars and an extra credit star if it weren't for those. I'm sure with all of the good, no make that great other things it's got going on, it'll be perfect for many other shooters out there as long as they're not bothered by that goofy choice for a safety.
