Totally marvelous...
Totally marvelous 1911. I like it a lot. My ffl guy liked it so much he wanted to buy it from me. No deal. It's absolutely gorgeous gun. Perfect size. There is just nothing wrong with it. Shoots smooth as silk. I stripped it and was expecting to polish some surfaces in it. I did not have to. Remington has raised the bar in quality for $600 1911's. This is the kind of fit and finish I would expect in much more expensive guns. I was surprised and quite happy about this. I will be looking at more Remington's in the future. Especially 1911's. Highly recommended.
