I like the looks of this gun. It is light weight and has the threaded barrel. The trigger wasn't so good, so I put a Volquartsen trigger kit in and put some aftermarket rubber grips on it. I might work on the sights or get a red dot? I am very pleased with this so far.

Purchased 6 months ago and have had a good amount of range time with this good little shooter with over 5k rounds through it. What I can say about it is wow!! I did a lot of research and comparing similar .22lr pistols (Walter P22, SR22, and the Browning Buck Mark) and I am confident I chose the best pistol. I shot all the other models I was considering and I've also shot older Ruger Mark pistols in the past and by far this model is the best. It is simple to take down and field strip/clean, light weight, threaded barrel, picattiny rail, and has 1911 "like" grip position although I've heard 1911 grips will not fit? Haven't tried either though.. as far as accuracy this thing is incredibly accurate, the sights are easy to line up and have not had to adjust them at all. I've had many people try this gun and they seem to all shoot it well. As far as negatives (which are not many) cosmetically, the color is more of a blueish grey and I was hoping for a more titanium silver color since the one I saw at a cabelas seemed more grey in person. I guess it could have been the lighting? Mechanically, it has difficulty feeding standard velocity rounds when shooting suppressed (which is almost always for me). It seems the bolt assembly cycles faster than the magazine can reliably feed because the round is always jammed the same way and often bends the bullet in the case. But I've tried numerous subsonic rounds from different manufactures and they have all functioned flawlessly when shooting suppressed. My only complaint with this is although the subsonic rounds are incredibly quiet they are pricier than standard velocity rounds. The standard velocity rounds are not much louder when shooting suppressed that I would trade the few decibels for being able to reliably function cheaper standard velocity ammo. (When suppressed of course). And lastly if you plan to install the volquartsen accurizing kit or similar do it when the gun is new!! The safety screws are impossible to get out after a lot of shooting and because the size hex is so small they stripped out for me making the kit install take much longer than it should have. But this kit is not necessary for the gun to be fun. Just makes the trigger pull more "competition smooth" and removes the magazine disconnect. Overall Ruger did an outstanding job improving on an already well made gun I would not hesitate to buy another one in future. As always Buds was quick to deliver to FFL.
