A: Kathy, Yes this firearm has "ambidextrous features" Manual safety on both sides, ambi slide lock/release, and mag release can be reversed to left or right side. Possible lefty issue is spent casings will always eject out right side towards leftys

A: Not reported David as I have seen or been aware of. The manual safety is in a peculiar place but, not reported issues with people who are or have become familiar with this setup.

A: David, Part 3008590 is steel 15 rounder and 2 come with the firearm. Part 3000247 is aluminum 15 rounder and will work as extra magazines because less expensive. Some people say 3000247 won't work with M&P 2.0, but they work for me.

A: Tim, the TS Stands for "Thumb Safety" (the lever below the rear serrations). The non TS model does not have this safety lever. Smith and Wesson makes the pistol with and without because prefer it and some don't.
