This firearm has features to make it California compliant for the Handgun Roster, such as the loaded chamber indicator (LCI). Smith & Wesson also have to pay extra in order to get these firearms compliant, thus, bringing the price for us up up and away. I can respect Smith & Wesson for even taking the time and legal courses in order for us to obtain a certain firearm. Many companies don't bother because it is just a big headache and costs a lot of money for them to produce. We do have lawsuits against the Handgun Roster/State of California.That's my understanding.
