A: Edward, these are great pistols for the price. The only difference in the California compliant model and the standard model is the magazine capacity, other than that they are identical. Smith and Wesson makes quality firearms and has great customer service. I would definitely recommend this. Hope this helps.

A: Should come with (2) 10 Rounds Magazines. I recommend Canik compact pistol if you want a better trigger. 8lb can be quit painful to practice with. I hope this helps!

A: Carlos, formerly compliant just means it was California compliant and now it's not. Buds is just letting people know it's no longer California compliant. Smith and Wesson didn't pay the $200 renewal fee, so doj dropped it from the list. Hope this helps.
