A: California has several test that firearms must pass. Like the drop test, melting temp tests, and more. They also have safety restrictions and mag capacity restrictions. Serial # and markings requirements. Its often difficult to tell what's compliant. The best way is to always check the "California Gun Roster". I now have it book marked for reference.
