A: No … the Sig 320 (all of them) are "striker fired" actions … all trigger pulls are the same 1 thru 21. There is no hammer to reset. DO/SA guns are hammer fired .. so the DO refers to the two actions of setting the hammer then firing the gun. I have the X5 (from Bud's) and it's a fantastic gun right out of the box … I LOVE mine. A: Marlowe, thanks for specifying the P320. Accuracy is actually excellent and Buds has cycled through the non upgraded batch in August of last year. If it is not on the CA DOJ Approved Roster, it is not compliant as CA is very strict on this. A: Many USPSA competitive shooters tried this gun and found that it wasn't up to the accuracy requirements of our sport like all the hype had alluded to. The Glock 34 is a better more accurate pistol in the same class.

A: Marlowe - This particular model is not among the best SIG has produced, in my opinion, as far as accuracy. Also, I didn't find it on the CA Compliant list, so if it isn't there, it can't be shipped to CA. Of curse, the ultimate burden is on the owner/purchaser to make sure any firearm is CA compliant, so you need to make sure you personally are comfortable with whether or not it is CA compliant. A: Marlowe, hard to say about accuracy as the shooter has a lot to do with it so you want to make sure you are comfortable with the firearm. Also, in regards to it being CA compliant if Buds has it compliant on their site I would trust that it would be accepted in CA. My father holds and CCW from Tennessee and works in CA and also has a CCW there and he has some firearms that are not on the CA compliant list but still can be carried and owned in the state as long as the magazine capacities are met so I would go to your local sheriff department and check with them on how to go about getting that particular firearm. But also it might be worth a chat with Buds they are always a big help when I have contacted them, just log in at Buds.com and click the blue chat button on the bottom right of the screen.

A: Marlowe, no Sir. California is very strict on only CA DOJ Roster Pistols only being legal. FFL's won't take the chance of losing their license by shipping a non approved firearm to CA. (If it is not on the list, it has not been approved for ownership in CA which would be a Felony to have). There are hundreds of 10rd Magazine Pistols that are not legal in CA including this one.

A: Marlowe - California does not always seem to apply the exact same standards to the firearms they put on their roster of approved firearms. However they do apply the regulation that if it isn't on the roster, it is not CA compliant. To get on the approved list, a manufacturer must pay California to 'test and certify' each particular model they wish to sell in CA. Some manufacturers simply refuse to pay the 'testing' fees CA charges to put pistols on the roster. There are many, many firearms with 10 round capacity that are not on the roster.
