I liked this gun, but...
I liked this gun, but did not love it. In theory the ported barrel does/should have less muzzle rise, but for me it was not that noticeable. In general I'm not a huge polymer fan, every one I have owned I ended up selling. Polymer is nice for a carry, capacity or a duty option, since they are lighter weight and will likely never rust with minimum common sense care. I ended up going with a STI 2011 for my race gun. As a kid I grew up with 1911s and carried one for decades. So naturally I felt more at home with the 1911/2011 platform. Just my preference. Most importantly remember what Dorothy said, 'There's no place like home'! So find what works best for you.
