I bought this pistol...
I bought this pistol about 4 months ago and Bud's service was outstanding as usual! For the M&P40c, the trigger initially was a bit gritty and over 8 1/2 pound of pull and the slide was very stiff to rack. The magazines couldn't be fully filled without a mag loader of some kind as the spring was and still is just too strong. After about 500 rounds the trigger seemed to smooth out and lightened to just under 7 pounds. The trigger reaches full travel and then breaks very cleanly with audible reset of about 1/8th inch. My last practice session my worst 10 round group was 3 5/8 inches with the tightest group at 1 3/4 inches at a distance of 10 yds (30 feet). I have just over 1000 rounds down range thru it with this last range practice . The 40c seems to shoot much softer then most other 40's of that size and even some 9mm I have shot. It is very easy to acquire the target for follow up shots. I have not had any failure to fire or failure to eject thus far and at 600 rounds I started carrying it as my CCW .
