Springfield has always...
Springfield has always been known for its 1911's and this Range Officer in 9mm is up to par with most 1911's that are double the cost. The all steel construction lends to a softer felt recoil with almost helps with more accurate follow up shits too. After the initial break in (for me I usually run 200-300 rounds of various brands and weights of ammo) and I have had no malfunction. Thisb1911 sits with all my other and I on par with the Kimbers and Sig 1911's I own. USA made and a damn fine shooter!

I love this 1911, am very glad I narrowed my decision down to this 1911 after much research. first time shooting had 2 1/2" spread at 15 yards, what an enjoyable gun to shoot. very accurate. quality of this 1911 is on par with much more expensive 1911's. highly recommend
