An amazing firearm...
An amazing firearm I've shot a Beretta 92 before U before and I really can't tell the difference and the money is much easier on the pocket for the price of this firearm I'm very happy with this and no problems whatsoever the only problem I did have was the initial magazines that came with it the follower kept twisting in twisting in but I have bought another magazine from metgar which work excellent The PT92 from Taurus is awesome

This thing is a...
This thing is a beauty. What a good looking gun. The pictures on line don't do it justice. It is incredibly accurate. I suspect that is as a result of how heavy it is. It's a bigger gun. I have big hands, and I wouldn't want a gun to be any bigger than this. I have found bigger guns like the 1911 and this one tend to be more consistent for me. OK, here is my summary:\r \r Comes with two 17 rd magazines. I wish they had stainless baseplates, but they appear to be parkerized. \r \r Comes with Taurus lock-out keys that seem to be included on any Taurus gun I have bought. There is a lock-out mechanism at the bottom, at the back of the frame (i.e., bottom of the backstrap) that you put the keys in. All Taurus lock-out keys seem to be the same. Turning the lockout clockwise prevents the trigger from being pulled, the slide from being racked, and the hammer from being pulled back. \r \r The walnut grips are beautiful. The fit and finish of the right hand grip could be a little bit better. Otherwise, fit and finish is good. \r \r They include an extra set of the plain black grips just in case.\r \r M9 magazines will not work on this gun. I tried some out at an army surplus store and while they fit, they don't catch. The magazine notches on the Taurus seem to be bigger (but in the same spot) as the M9 mags. With a little Dremel work, you could probably make them work. \r \r It's a single action/double action. I suppose that's a nice feature so that you can carry cocked and locked, or half cocked, whatever your preference. \r \r It has a safety/decocker on the frame. The decocker causes the hammer to move to a half cocked position.\r \r Take-down is a cinch. Press one button, while simultaneously twisting one tab and the slide is easily removed from the frame. \r \r Fixed front sight with clearly painted red dot. Rear site is friction fit adjustable for windage (i.e., no adjustment screw, but it looks like you could use a punch to adjust). The rear sites appear to be parkerized with clearly painted white dots. \r \r Out of the box, mine shoot a little low and to the left. But very consistent.
