The Bantam is worth...
The Bantam is worth the price. I have carried a 1911 Commander for decades and this Bantam is now my daily carry: it fells great in the hand, runs great, works in all my carry gear so no new holsters, mag carriers, etc. I did have some bumps on the highway: 1. The fiber optic flew off the gun in the first 50 rounds, I returned the gun to SDS imports and they returned it to me next day. SDS was a pleasure to work with. 2, The Check Mate mags that came with the gun consistently stovepiped, I replaced them with Mec Gar, which ran flawlessly. SDS is assisting with the Check Mate mag issue, I am confident they will figure it out

This 1911 is a fine...
This 1911 is a fine piece of craftsmanship. I did my research prior to buying and it has exceeded my expectations and is my carry gun now. Built on an aluminum Ed brown bobtail frame with cold hammer forged barrel and slide, this thing is a dream to shoot. Sports a black cerakote finish. The safety is the most positive and consistent that I've ever had on a 1911. The trigger is pretty standard and nothing to write home about, but is easily improved upon with parts, or polishing. I was astounded at how quickly my sight picture would return when firing. Just a real sweet shooter! As usual. Buds was awesome to deal with and shipped super fast. Been buying from them for over a decade now and have always been impressed with them
