Thank you Buds, great service. It is my first Tisas 1911 and I am impressed with the quality a fitting of this D10 pistol. I usually carry and shoot my STI Eagle, .40 S&W and I am delighted of the level of accuracy of this 10mm. On my first 200 rounds (target ammo) I had problems with the magazines and the tight fitting of this D10, however the next 60 rounds I used 155 Hornady XTP and from those 60 rounds I had only 1 failure to load (FTL). I feel that is breaking in smoothly. Also,I used 2 Wilson Combat 9 rounds mags, it runs good with those.

Received my Tisas D10...
Received my Tisas D10 last week. I've put 50 rounds through it so far. 1st mag had 1 FTF. Stripped it, cleaned it, oiled it and reassembled it. Shoots like a dream, no FTF's. Barrel is tight, slide to frame fit is excellent, safety is crisp, trigger is excellent and it's accurate. This is my 3rd Tisas and I'm more impressed with them all the time. I have 3 other brands of 1911's and these are as good and better than some. Just ordered the MAC JSOC 1911. Tisas, a great value, reliable, accurate 1911. They're quickly becoming my favorite 1911, because they flat out run.

My first 10mm. First...
My first 10mm. First off let me say this is a very nice 1911 in 10mm. For the price you get alot for your money. Two-tone finish is nice, and the slide looks to be a polished piano key black in color, beautiful. You get alot of features you normally only see on higher-end 1911s. Fit and finish is great, barrel fit is excellent, thumb safety is fit extremely well, mags drop freely from the magazine well, magazine release is not to rigid and is easy to reach and operate. Also, the sights are excellent- bright green fiber optic front and rounded rear sight that is blacked out and serrated to reduce glare. Trigger pull is the best on any 1911 I have ever owned- trigger pull weight on this pistol is literally between 2.5 and 3 lbs! Amazing trigger with a quick reset. Grip safety works well, and slide stop/release works just like it's supposed to. Slide locks properly to the rear on empty magazines too. Also, an added bonus is the 25 LPI checkering on the front and rear of the grip. Feels great and grippy in the hand but it isn't too aggressive. Front and rear cocking serrations on the slide are a nice addition. Grips are very nice too, but I will probably replace those. Only thing I dislike on this 1911 is the grip screws. I prefer traditional flat-head screws and also prefer a non-ambi safety. The safety is so well fit however, I will leave it as is. FYI- Tisas uses all non-MIM parts in their pistols. All internals are steel. I am a 1911 enthusiast and all my other 1911s are in 45ACP. I wanted to get a 1911 in 10mm for a good price and for the features and all you get, this was a great deal. Comes with high quality plastic case, trigger lock, cleaning brush, barrel bushing wrench, (2) 8 round magazines and paper work/owners manual. Included magazines are made by Sig so they are great quality. Pistol field strips just like a traditional GI 1911. No bull barrel, no full length guide rod, and is true to John Moses Browning's original design- only it's a 10mm, not a 45. Great 1911 and shipping/transfer was easy and straight forward. The 90-day layaway plan was excellent as well. You won't be able to beat this 10mm 1911 for the features and price. Haven't fired it yet but I am sure it will function and cycle just like it's supposed to. Very high quality 1911 and Tisas seams to have improved their QC dramatically. I would highly recommend this pistol to anyone.
