This is an amazing deal! This pistol isn't your granddad's 1911 that rattles when you shake it. It's tight-as. No rattle, no wiggle, and the slide to frame connection is unsurpassed. It's got to be hand fitted because the rails are slick like glass. Everything locks up tight. The safety snaps in and out with authority and it comes with a nice beavertail that makes getting bit nearly impossible. Hands down, it is a better fit than my Kimber. The finish is just as good as the fit. It's got an old-school deep blue on the flats of the slide, and a matte blue elsewhere. It looks really nice in the hand, no questions. Honestly, out of the box I'd have been just as happy to have paid nearly twice as much for it. It's that good. I didn't care for the grips that came with it so I replaced mine with some low profile Hogue walnut panels and added a Pachmayr checkered front strap. That's it. I run BB 147 gr +P+ that gives me close to .357 performance. It hits a consistent 6 inches low at 25 so I have some plans with my smith to get it to shoot POA:POI. If you want a dead sexy 'budget' 1911 set up for a successful night out straight out of the box, then I suggest you look no further.
