A: Jon - If my memory is correct, the M2 version eliminated the need for a take down tool. According to the model number on this pistol, it is not an M2 version, but the basic CCP model. M2 versions have a model number in which the last three digits begin in "5", as in "5080501" ... The models with the last digits starting with a "3", as the model number (as on the pistol you referenced), are the "CCP" models.
