This Walther CCP M2 ,...
This Walther CCP M2 , the object of this review, was my 4th purchase from Bud's. Bud's is simply the best place to buy a firearm online, period. Aside from that, do not buy this firearm, from any dealer. Full disclosure, I have been gunsmithing for over fifty years, mostly on law enforcement weapons. The firearm is a disappointment. The rear sight arrived broken and pushed way off center. Using a bore laser indicated the rear sight was pushed far to the right. The position of the sight and the damage would not allow the sight to be pushed back to the left. In addition, the trigger, out of the box, was almost unusable, literally the worst trigger I've ever felt. Clearly, the broken sight and terrible trigger are not issues Bud's would have seen as a distributor. The poor build quality of this firearm is a discredit to the excellent company name it bears. I own other Walther firearms and their quality is top notch. Now I own a new gun and have to spend time and money to make it a functional firearm. Very disappointing and confidence breaking.
