Arrived in reasonable time. Was a bit concerned about how ammo would feed, but thus far no issues and I've tried multiple bulk 22 ammo.

Been a P22 owner for...
Been a P22 owner for years so I bought the crushed orchid for the Mrs. She likes it. Likes the compact size, color and how easy it is to shoot. She's also learning to like the double strike capability of the SA/DA hammer fired vs her previous M&P 22 compact SA hidden hammer. Also fairly reliable. After about 150 rounds it gets fouled up enough to cause failure to extract and feed issues. There's a little lip between the feed ramp and chamber. Maybe a little polishing of the feed ramp will help. I'm giving it 3 stars because this is the newest version of this model. Same version as my FDE pictured. But this came with the ridiculous 2 piece guide rod system. The captured rod that came in my FDE will not fit the crushed orchid because the guide rod hole of the slide is different. I had to buy a captured spring from TandemKross. I also had to replace the useless front sight with a Hi Viz fiber optic. Many other 22 pistols in this class come with a rear sight that's elevation and windage adjustable. Not Walther. Still a good pistol and don't regret the purchase. But Walther has something good that could be great.
