I ordered this pistol...
I ordered this pistol to have a duty sized pistol to edc. When I got the pistol, I did as many others do and watched all of the Youtube videos you can to learn what you can about your purchase. I saw reviewers saying this pistol was snappy and needed a comp or springs to be manageable and really, I think if you believe that, perhaps try going to the gym? This pistol has a typical 9mm pistol recoil impulse. The double undercut trigger guard as well as the texturing on the frame's grip as well as the interchangeable backstraps help you gain good purchase on the weapon, which makes it controllable. The trigger on this pistol is the absolute nicest pistol trigger I have had the privilege of using with a pistol. The sights are adjustable but leave a little bit to be desired. Theyre functional and will get the job done but im not sure whether these sights work like Glock sights which require a combat hold as opposed to a bissecting hold on target. When I shot the first 5 rounds, they all stacked neatly in a 2.5 inch circle at 15 yards. I put the other 45 rounds in the box into a group the size of the palm of my hand with my fingers opened. I later on tried a bit more rapid shooting and I used some Winchester duty grade high pressure ammo to see how snappy it was allegedly and was able to keep my shots inside of the original 50 round group while working on controlled pairs. The magazines are made by Mecgar and are extremely high quality and they have an aluminum base plate on them. I like this for 2 reasons, you can pinch them if you needed to strip that magazine due to a malfunction if it didnt fall freely after hitting the release, and the second reason is because the extra weight from the base plate helps them fall free and clear easier during emergency reloads. The slide serrations are nice and large and easy to gain purchase on for slide manipulation. My only nitpick is how hot this pistol runs. I put 2 magazines back to back through it and the pistol's slide when I went to overhand it for a 3rd magazine was hotter to the touch than ive seen on other handguns. I dont know if it has to do with the slide maybe being thinner up front or something like that, but it was noticeably hotter than other pistols like my Glock 49. All in all, thats an entirely small gripe and its not like I didnt just put close to 40 rounds of ammo through it in the span of a minute and a half or so with higher pressured ammo. I cannot sell this pistol to you enough. Buy it and basically youre set. I plan on slapping an optic on it sooner or later but for now, it far exceeds the standard I have set for a handgun.

Got this particular...
Got this particular model after pouring over the options from walther. I think bang for buck with the features it has this is one of the most loaded and ergonomic guns in its price point (which buds had the best price on out of 4 other big online retailers). I've had some slight issues fedding since I swapped out the plastic factory guide rod and added the PMM comp when using target ammo but somewhat expected since they aren't "full power". Handles well, felt recoil almost non extant now with the comp and brass rod especially

This is now my new...
This is now my new favorite firearm. The trigger out of the box is superb. It handles well and feels great in your hand. I am very accurate with this firearm. I love the mag well and how easy it is to drop and reload quickly. I love the capacity of 18 rounds. This is my first Walther but not last. It is the absolute easiest gun to take down to clean, and reassemble. I may have to get another in a different color scheme. You will not be disappointed.
