Wilson makes a premier...
Wilson makes a premier weapon; slide to frame fit is excellent. The Armor-Tuff finish is very nice eventhough WC states it will eventually wear according to owner use. I have not fired this weapon since it has become part of a collection of 1911's. I did test the trigger pull and found it to be 3.6 lbs. There is something about the WC 1911 that seems to fit very well in your hand. Mine is medium size and the pistol is easy to grip and very comfortable. I did change the Guide Rod from the short type to the Full Length. I'm not completely sure it will make the weapon more accurate but it looks better, in my opinion. Other than the Guide Rod, the only other thing I might change are the grips-not because I don't like the G-10 but because I like variety. Pretty pricy but if you have the money to invest-buy a Wilson Combat. Finally, I know you aren't supposed to mention this but Bud's is a great place to buy a weapon.
