A: David, No this mount is not QD. There are 3 allen screw fasteners on the bottom of the mounting portion of the mount to fasten to your AKs side rail.

A: David, 3 Allen Screws retains this Rail so it is not Quick Detach. Takes about a minute with proper Allen wrench though.

A: It will but this includes a weaver rail I'd spend a little more and get a midwest industries mount that includes a 1913 mil spec picatiny rail, it costs a little more but it is a quality mount and will be more reliable, durable, hold zero better, and the pic rail will be compatible with .ore optics then the weaver rail.
