I have used the Warne...

I have used the Warne rings before but this is the first time I've used their rail. The rail is made of steel and is very strong. And the fit to my Rem 700 receiver was pretty good. I did bed the rear portion of the rail to the action for a perfect fit. It's not hard as there are instructional videos available. The Torx screws provided are a softer metal than the receiver. I think this is intentional so that if you get it cross-threaded (which is fairly easy to do) then the screw is damaged and not the threads in the action. So be a bit careful getting them started correctly or you will need to find some new screws. The instructions included are not that wonderful, but it's not rocket science. Use a torque screwdriver for final torque and it will turn out great.
