I have a Mossberg...
I have a Mossberg MMR/AR with a 20" barrel in a 1/9" twist. I was told that anything over 60 grains would not do well but 2 outings to the range had proved that assumption wrong. I am not the best shooter but at the initial 50 yard sight in with this AR styled rifle which was a totally new platform for me I kept all shots into a 3" diamond shoot and see target. Yesterday 5/31 I kept about 75 rounds in a 1.5" group that obliterated the little red diamond inside the other 3" diamond on the same target. It is good enough to hunt with already and I did not even shoot test loads loaded on a ladder test. I plan to make up a range of loads and make up 50 weighed test loads and choose the best out of 5 steps. I am impressed with the bullets and just ordered 300 more. I recommend these bullets. Try them in your 1/9" twist barrel and see if they work as well for you.
