i bought one of these...
i bought one of these kits and it was great. it was a real step up from the lee classic loaders i started with. i bought a 2nd kit, but the press did not have the lock pin where you screw the die in. i was disappointed. it must have been an older version that they had in stock. the kit makes reloading in the field, at the range, or even while camping a real possibility. i might buy a more sophisticated home set-up in the future, but for now it works for me, being able to reload for my lever guns and auto loaders. no more banging in primers with a hammer, unless i want to play "maxwell'.the ram prime works well. its not a fast way to reload , but faster than what i am used to. i like the lee products- buy the reloading book too!

I am very pleased with...
I am very pleased with my Lee Hand Press Kit. Everything I needed to reload 38 Special and .357 Magnum cost me less than $100 and I can take it with me anywhere. The quick change bushings make it a snap to switch through dies. With a bench loader you might be able to do more rounds more quickly than you could with the hand loader, but it requires a dedicated space to be set up for operation. I could be sitting anywhere and reload rounds with the hand loader. It is a great choice for someone who wants mobile independence for their reloading needs.
