I wasn't expecting...
I wasn't expecting much at that price. However, when I got the gun having it less than one hour, I noticed in the HALF COCK position sometimes the cylinder does not spin as it's supposed to. So I reached out to Chiappa their response was "Michael, with our ten shot the timing is VERY close. if you pull it past the half cocked position it will more thatn usual drop the bolt causing what you are saying. if you would like to send it it we could take a look at it just to make sure something is not actually wrong." So I decided to try to shoot this thing regardless, to their benefit the gun shoots smoothly. \\r\ \\r\ After the first 20 rounds, I noticed my trigger finger was bleeding, so inspected the gun a little closer, there's tooling marks on the gun on the trigger and on the trigger guard where the two halves of of the fire were put together, and they weren't that noticeable, but were razor sharp, I pulled out the Dremel and smoothed then out, then repainted the trigger and inside of the guard. All good now. \\r\ \\r\ If you are looking for a gun to plunk with, that's reliable and you can shoot right out of the box, this may or may not be the gun for you. If you want something that's going to last in a similar price point, move on over to Heritage Arms. Chiappa is a decent gun as long as you understand what your buying, with this it is definitely buyer beware, and Chiappa doesn't offer much in the way of customer service, so good luck and good shooting.\\r\
