Because of my...
Because of my experience with owning a Kimber K6S DASA 3" revolver , I decided to add the K6S 2" to my stock of steel revolvers. Having owned some of the extremely light 38 Special snub nosed products with aluminum or hybrid frames, they had crude sights and a punishing recoil that made followup shots seem difficult and inconsistent at my level of range practice. They're easily concealed and carried but too light and "flippy" for quick presentation and repeated fire. The K6S DASA 3" always out performed the lightweights but was just a little too long to carry concealed when seated or driving. I like it as a woods/walking/hiking/outdoor exercise carry loaded with the hotter .357 rounds. This new K6S 2" from Buds is more concealable as a day-long carry. The weight, balance, handling, and sights of these revolvers contribute to a more confident and accurate shooting experience for me. The design features, materials, workmanship, and smooth DA trigger made this Kimber K6S Stainless a great choice. My range ammo is 38 Special 130 grain FMJ, my defensive carry is 38 Special +P 125 grain JHP. Both shoot to point of aim from "get off me" to 7 yards. In my revolver quest I was able to compare the handling, balance, and dry fire trigger feel of revolvers by Taurus, Ruger, Smith & Wesson, Colt, and Kimber. I chose the Kimber as the best. Buds made it happen.
