I hate to have to...
I hate to have to review this gun so poorly because it is so attractive to look at but the fit of the wood grips is bad, The trigger was so bad I had to return the pistol to Davidsons Gallery of Guns to have the gunsmith work on the trigger. 12 lbs of trigger pull in a single action was just not useable. It has been in the shop for 3 weeks with no communication as to progress. I needed a single action in 9mm to use for varmint control so I decided to spend the extra money. I've owned it for 35 days and have yet to fire it, only with snap caps.

as alway pietta comes through with a beautiful firearm. the fit finish color case harding are beautiful, and the brass trigger guard is impressive. What's even better is the action. You would think it has been taylor tuned. Trigger is smooth and crisp at around 3 lbs. It shoots remarkably point of aim. For a cowboy gun that's impressive. And to top it all I got it at a wonderful price. Much lower than my local shop can offer this for me. Super fast shipping and very well packaged. Bud's always keeps me up to date with shipping and tracking info. This is my 4th pietta from buds. The 45lc 45 auto is just the same a pure joy to shoot. Heck I gotta get to reloading .
