This is a fantastic...
This is a fantastic revolver! I was having issues at first extracting the brass on really cheap 10mm rounds and once I used better ammo the full moon clips ejected normally. This is the perfect balance for a SRH and a hot 10mm load is very mild and comfortable to shoot in this heavy gun. I have not tried 40 S&W yet, but I imagine it will feel like shooting a standard 38 special because of the weight of the gun. I can't wait to use this for deer season! This is a nice alternative to a hard kicking 44 mag (or something larger) for sure. My kids even enjoy shooting it. I sent the 1" rings back to Ruger and they swapped them out for some 30mm rings in case I decide to add a 30mm Ultra Dot on it. If you are even thinking about buying one of these, go for it. This barrel length is not currently in production either. Just an FYI...

Very nice fit and...
Very nice fit and finish. Very accurate. I have two gripes: first, the trigger is very "notchy" not nearly as smooth as my Redhawk 357. Second, the hammer pivot pin pops out of its recess and turns slightly. This is due to the style of grip on this particular model. It doesn't fit the frame snuggly. This doesn't effect anything, just bothers my OCD. Ive read many reviews where people ask "why a 10mm Super Redhawk?" The 10mm is no slouch, feels good in this gun. Shooting 100 rounds at the range is enjoyable. For me this gun is a range toy and conversation piece. Very happy with my purchase overall
