Purchase from buds was flawless as usual. The super redhawk Alaskan is a tank. Very accurate. Recoil manageable in 480 Ruger. Had problems with cases sticking with some brands of ammo. Rough finish to chambers was the culprit. Polishing chambers helped.

Sometimes I have to question some reviews. I recently purchased this hand cannon, and the look, feel, and workmanship exceeds what I expected from reading various reviews. I own the Super Blackhawk Bisley in .480 Ruger as well. Both purchased from Buds and both firearms are excellent. However this Alaskan has become my personal favorite.
