"Go ahead, make my day -" Fact of the matter is, the vaunted .44 magnum is a poor manstopper. Why? Because typical factory loadings of the .44 Magnum tend to blast though bad guys before the pills have a chance to expand. .429 diameter hole in, .429 diameter hole out, with little kinetic energy transference ... That's no good. In fact, that sucks - especially when confronted with some drug-fueled fiend on the street. Colonel Jeff Cooper's last gift to us, the 10mm Auto cartridge, neatly closes this embarrassing gap. Wanna pack a hand-cannon in a fine, leather, Desantis shoulder rig under your blazer? You can do no better than the S&W M-610 with a 6.5" barrel. Good God Almighty! Bad guys beware! The sheer mass of this N-frame wheelgun neatly soaks up the [actually fairly low] recoil of typical 10mm defensive loadings. Accuracy-wise, this is a hundred yard revolver, as any long-barreled Smith ought to be. It is quite suitable for deer, charging rhinos or "aggressive panhandlers" armed with screwdrivers haunting public transit. This pistol uses "full-moon" clips, allowing the user to dump six fresh rounds in at a time without a speedloader or somesuch. This makes reloading a cinch (dry-fire practice is recommended). There are shorter-barrel variants for limp-wrists who don't like packing all that weight. Me, I prefer the full Monty, 6.5" version. "Go ahead, make my day - "

This revolver is a...
This revolver is a must have with that being said I think I'll buy another for my grandson. I took it to the range which I was supprised how accurate it was engaging a 25 meter target which I kept the rounds within the diamaiter of a bow dollar which was damn good, my Glock 10mm pistol was okay but I rather use my Smith and Wesson 10 mike mike named Bertha.
