This is a very nice...
This is a very nice revolver, The muzzle break really tames down the recoil of the 44 magnum. It's extremely loud to shoot, make sure you have ear protection.\r Very accurate at 50 yards, so far that's all I have to say about it. I don't regret buying it! With a little luck maybe I will get a deer with it before the season goes out.

Excellent accuracy and...
Excellent accuracy and function as one would expect from a Smith and Wesson! 240 gr Hollowpoints have almost negligible recoil (for this type of load) due to the porting and weight of the sight. If you are patient and have good loads you can almost lay the shots on top of each other at 25 yds. The trigger single action is awesome. I do not anticipate using the double action while hunting, but it is very smooth too. I feel this is a substantially better gun (particularly for hunting) than my Ruger 44mag, but it certainly won't be applicable for Cowboy games like the Blackhawk. Excellent target or hunting firearm.
