This is my duty weapon...
This is my duty weapon on nights Buds was good as always and Mr smith and Mr Wesson do not disappoint. Also the 357 magnum never disappoints double action is smooth. Sights wonderful. Changing grips to clear speedloaders. It's a 6 shooter that has 7. What's not to like? Officer Roberts#210

Well, it's a 686....
Well, it's a 686. Wanted another just for a truck, farm gun. As far as the build quality is concerned, it's typical modern smith stuff. Irritated because it said WOOD GRIPS like the TALO guns and the matching picture for it to confirm that. Arrived with grips that look like those but are most CERTAINLY black plastic and not the black silver laminate wood grips as shown. Obvious by look and feel. Thankfully I had already planned to tune this gun with some aftermarket stuff and put a nice set of rosewood Altamont combat grips on it. Smith could do a better job in a plethora of areas. Solid pistol, but less than stellar from a company that used to be king of the revolvers.
