It's hard not to give the Single Action a 5 star review because it seems to be very well made. Everything feels like it was manufactured to tight tolerances. The issue I have is with the presentation of the revolver. When I finally took it home from my FFL, I was able to take it down and inspect it more carefully. I found some clear coat missing on the hammer and a lot of residue inside the barrel. Near the breech I found a good amount of residue, as well as along length inside the barrel. I cleaned it out with some solvent and applied oil to all the necessary parts. The inside of the barrel still has some discoloration but a lot of people seem to think it is fine. I e-mailed standard manufacturing with some pictures and they said I could send it in if i want but I opted to keep it. I won't have time to shoot it for another month, if anything negative comes from that I'll try to update the review. So overall I would have to take off one star because of the condition the revolver arrived. With something that costs more than a few thousand dollars, I expected a higher standard for final delivery.
