Hard to beat a red dot...
Hard to beat a red dot compatible revolver, especially in a powerful low recoil 327 Federal caliber. Holosun 407k fits right on.

I really wanted to...
I really wanted to like this gun. It function checked fine when I picked it up. However, within about 50 dry fires (with snap caps) the cylinder went so badly out of time that it would index between chambers once every 4 or 5 trigger pulls. I sent it back to Taurus (at my expense). Taurus called a couple of weeks later and advised that it was not fixable and had to be replaced.About a month later the replacement gun arrived at my dealer (since they couldn't fix it and had to replace it with a new gun it had to go through a dealer). So, all told, about two months and another transfer fee later I had a new gun that appeared to be okay. I didn't even bother to take it to the range, I traded it (at a loss) on something else. This will be the last time Taurus fools me. Optics ready revolvers are a great idea, but Taurus apparently still isn't ready for prime time.
